EPP welcomes enquiries from anyone with an active interest in drama. There are opportunities to take part in a wide variety of roles, from acting to helping to manage the theatre itself. Roles are  generally shared among the members, eg stage design, set building, prompt/continuity, props, costumes, lighting design, sound, stage management, front of house, buildings maintenance etc. You don't have to be an expert in any particular field, as most of us have learnt on the job, and past members have gone on to become professional actors, stage managers, lighting engineers etc.

Regular working rehearsals are held at the EPPiC theatre every Monday and Wednesday from 7.30-10pm, with occasional extras close to production dates. Arrival by 7.20pm is essential so that rehearsals can start on time.

EPP stages 3 plays a year, in February, May and October, and some occasional performances in aid of theatre funds or local charities.

The fee for membership is currently held at £25 per year, which contributes towards the upkeep of the theatre. However if a non-member joins for one particular play, there is a nominal charge of £10. Play scripts and refreshments are not included.
