When Ludovic dies at his Italian estate his two surviving relatives arrive to claim their inheritance. The estate had previously belonged to Salvatore's family.
Salvatore had worked for Ludovic and had expected to inherit the estate but when this is proved not to be the case he turns his attentions to the two women to try and wheedle the estate somehow from them.
