compiled by Sylvia Jones from the writings of Dr Gatty July 1983
Based on his reminiscences in "A Life At One Living", this play tells some of the story of the life of Dr Alfred Gatty and his talented family, during life as the longest- serving Vicar of Ecclesfield during the later years of Victorian Sheffield. The play paints a picture of life in Ecclesfield in the 1890's.
